There is a $50.00 fee for a tank removal permit. Please make payment out to the Excelsior Fire District. The payment can be mailed in or collected on site the day of the tank removal.

If payment is not received on or before the day of the tank removal an invoice will be sent to the tank removal company. The Excelsior Fire District requires at least 72 hours notice on a tank removal. A representative from the Excelsior Fire District must be on site to observe the physical removal of the tank.
If a tank removal is postponed to another day or the time of the tank removal is delayed for any reason the Excelsior Fire District must be notified immediately. Failure to do so my result in a $100.00 fee for a special inspection and will be charged to the tank removal company. See the EFD Inspection Policy for more information.
